• Provide info on early detection and innovative treatment for mesothelioma for general practitioners and specialists
• Identify the most promising research directions
• Engage key researchers and clinicians in Canada and internationally, including the CMF Scientific Advisory Committee
• Promote support in Canada for areas of interest in research, for a Canadian mesothelioma patient registry and a national mesothelioma
health care network
• Link these efforts to the broader efforts to develop a comprehensive Canadian response to asbestos and asbestos disease
